Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Qorven Technologies handles information when temple committees use MandirKhata.
Information we process
We process account information such as name, email address, mobile number, authentication identifiers, and an optional Google profile image. Users may enter temple details, member roles, donation and donor details, expense records, receipt information, notes, access requests, audit activity, budget plans, and optional compressed bill images.
How information is used
Information is used only to authenticate users, operate temple workspaces, enforce roles, maintain financial records and audit history, generate reports and receipts, and provide support and security.
Service providers and sharing
MandirKhata uses Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore to provide account and database services. We do not sell personal data, run advertising, or operate a payment gateway. A receipt, CSV, PDF, invite code, or bill image leaves the app only when a user deliberately chooses an installed app from the device share sheet.
Storage and security
Access is protected through authenticated accounts, role-based permissions, and Firestore security rules. Data is transmitted using encrypted connections. Bill images are compressed on-device and stored inside the relevant Firestore expense record; MandirKhata does not use Firebase Cloud Storage.
Retention and deletion
Account and workspace information is retained while needed to provide the service. You may request deletion using the in-app Settings option or the account-deletion page. We aim to process verified requests within 30 days. Financial and audit records may need to be retained by the relevant temple committee for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance; where retention is necessary, personal account information will be removed or minimized where reasonably possible.
Your choices
You may correct workspace information in the app, export records, stop using optional bill-image attachment, or request account and personal-data deletion. Committee administrators control access to their temple workspace.
Children
MandirKhata is intended for authorized temple committee members and is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy when app features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
